Tuesday 24th Feb- 31st March
Lent Course
7.00pm to 9.00pm at St. Matthews Church, Eye. This year we will be looking at the Beatitudes (Jesus’s “blessed are…” statements from the Sermon on the Mount) using the Pilgrim Course. All are welcome.
Saturday 21st Feb - 28th March
Lent Lunches
Lent Lunches will be held in The Abbey at 12.30pm. Everybody is welcome. The Lent lunch date list up on the board. If you are able to help set up, make soup and help clear afterwards, please do sign up. Thank you.
1st Friday of March
World Day of Prayer
Unite with people worldwide in prayer and action for global peace and understanding. A daytime service is held in the Benefice.
Second Saturday and Sunday in December
Christmas Tree Festival
Come and see the Abbey full with Christmas trees decorated by local groups. There are refreshments, stalls, games and a raffle.
Second Friday in December at 6pm
Christmas Tree Lights Switch on
Join together for Christmas tunes by a brass group with a mince pie and mulled wine in hand as we count down to the big tree being illuminated.
